A single tear rolls down her cheek,
her heart damaged,
her knees weak.
Her vision misty,
her head fogged,
her thoughts come rationally and briskly.
She runs with no where to go,
no one to see,
just keeps going down the path she chose.
She drops to her knees,
feels his touch on her skin,
his whisper in the breeze.
She will never love anyone as she loved him so,
but now she knows
she must let go.

Great poem as always! can't wait to read more.
